According to her son coach Mark Hall, he admires both of his parents and his mom as a  coach. She was close with her players and has been a mother figure to them during her coaching career.

“I couldn't be raised by two better people of my mom and dad. She was a mother to a lot of kids while being a coach,” said Mark Hall.

Mark Hall admires his mother and her success as a coach. He hopes that he can follow his mother's footsteps as a coach and win a state championship at Prescott.

Since his mother holds the only state title for the Prescott basketball program, he hopes in the future he can lead his Curley Wolves to a championship.

He already has begun the process having coached the Curley Wolves to a district title during the 2009-10 season.

Melba Hall along with the 2010 class of the AHSCA Hall of Fame inductees honorary  banquet is held at the Hot Springs Convention Center.

The banquet was scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Honor Hall.
