ASHDOWN – The Hope Bobcats baseball team returned back to action this past weekend winning 2-1 games in the Ashdown tournament, Friday and Saturday March 5-6. The Bobcats defeated Lonoke 5-4 in seven innings, but fell short to Trinity Christian 5-1, and regrouped to defeat the Magnolia Panthers 8-7 in six innings.
The Bobcats will return back to baseball action today facing Texarkana on the road at 4 p.m. The Bobcats are scheduled to begin 5A Southwest Conference play this Friday at home facing Pulaski Academy with game time set for 4 p.m. at Legion Stadium.
