Head coach Rusty Winfield was very pleased with the Bobcats victory over the Senators and to start conference play undefeated. Winfield hopes to bring their momentum into Friday's conference matchup against a tough Lakeside team with help from the Hope fans.
“It was a good game, but we started out slow. It was a long trip to Little Rock and we had to make adjustments cause we had some players out. Overall the team adjusted well, looked pretty good with their performance to cause the mercy rule in the first conference game,” said Winfield.
“We have big rivals Lakeside this Friday with both teams are undefeated in the conference and like to see the Hope fans come out and support,” said Winfield.
