MALVERN – The Hope Ladycats and junior varsity Bobcats soccer teams took action Monday on the road against Malvern for non-conference soccer action. The Ladycats and Bobcats fought hard against Malvern but would suffer tough losses on the road. The Ladycats would fall to the Lady Leopards 7-1 and the Bobcats fell shot to the Leopards 6-0.
In girls soccer action Monday, Monica Castrejon scored the Ladycats goal assisted by Stephanie Winfield.
Head coach Rusty Winfield felt the Bobcats and Ladycats both fought hard but went a little backwards against Malvern on Monday night. Winfield looks for both ball clubs to move forward from the losses and regroup to be ready for their next opponent.
