The Hope Bobcats got a special surprise from their coaches on Wednesday evening after a hard work day of practice where they took aim and fired several water balloons to their players for enjoyment and fun.

The Hope Bobcats got a special surprise from their coaches on Wednesday evening after a hard work day of practice where they took aim and fired several water balloons to their players for enjoyment and fun.

Hope football head coach Phillip Turner rallied up the assistant coaches and they targeted several balloons filled up with water to treat their Bobcats for some post practice excitement as well as cooling off from weeks of hard work in the heat.

The Bobcats will get their first taste of gridiron season action on Tuesday Aug. 21 in a scrimmage game on the road against Lake Hamilton in Pearcy.

The Hope Jr. High Cats also will scrimmage on the Aug. 21 in Lake Hamilton to kick off the evening's football action in Pearcy. The Bobcats season-opener will be Aug. 31 at home hosting Nashville on the Bank of the Ozarks Field at Hammons Stadium.
