After making to consecutive trips to compete in the Class 2A State Baseball Finals at Baum Stadium in Fayetteville with the Spring Hill Bears, Kaleb Blair was selected to participate in the 2018 Arkansas High School Coaches Association All-Star Baseball game this summer.

After making to consecutive trips to compete in the Class 2A State Baseball Finals at Baum Stadium in Fayetteville with the Spring Hill Bears, Kaleb Blair was selected to participate in the 2018 Arkansas High School Coaches Association All-Star Baseball game this summer.

This year's marks the 63rd anniversary of All-Star competition and the 15th for baseball including softball and soccer. The All-Star baseball game has been a doubleheader in past years and played at Bear Stadium on the University of Central Arkansas campus in Conway.

Blair was selected as an all-star on the East team from the 7-2A East Conference. Blair finished this past baseball season earning All-State and All-Conference honors. He was named to the Class 2A All-State Tournament Team for his senior season with Spring Hill.

Blair was apart of the Bears finishing the 2018 baseball season 27-4 overall with their first 2A South Regional runner-up title, along a Co-Conference Championship in league play to make back-to-back appearances to the state finals as the 2018 Class 2A state runners-up.

Blair joins former teammate Josh Winfield as the second member from the Spring Hill Bears baseball team to be selected to play in the all-star baseball game in the previous two seasons to have two representatives for back-to-back seasons. Winfield and Blair are both members of the 2017 Spring Hill Bears State Championship baseball team that went 25-9 overall.

The 2018 East All-Star Team coaching staff consist of head coach Josh Allison of Valley View High School and assistant coaches Andy Durham of Hillcrest High School, Brandon Ballard of Buffalo Island Central and Matthew Davis of Searcy High School.

The 2018 West All-Star Team coaching staff features head coach Lance Spigner of Horatio High School and assistant coaches Ron Bradley of Har-Ber High School, Tye Glover of Greenbrier High School and Wes McCrotty of Pottsville High School.

AHSCA All-Star festivities will be the week of June 18-23 hosted at the University of Central Arkansas campus in Conway.
