As the 2017-18 school year officially makes it's ending soon, the hometown Hope High School Bobcats and Ladycats were recognized and presented awards, honors for their participation and production at their annual All-Sports Banquet hosted by the Hope Athletic Booster Club at Hempstead Hall.

For many years, it's been a tradition to wrap up the entire fall and spring sports season by recognizing the entire Hope High School athletic program and provided a year in review to highlight how each sport performed during the time of production.

As always, all head coaches gave recognition of their coaching staff and athletes of each sport consisting of - tennis, golf, cheerleading, basketball, soccer, baseball, football, softball and track and field for presentations during the banquet.

The Bobcats and Ladycats fall and spring sport athletes were recognized and awarded special honors at the sports banquet organized and sponsored by the Hope Athletic Booster Club. All coaches presented awards to the athletes for their production and dedication as well as the athletic student-trainers during the 2017-18 sports seasons.

The banquet opened with the welcome by Jimmy Courtney and Nathaniel Holyfield with invocation by Maurice Henry and the National Anthem sung by Bitsy Carter. Following the awards presentations, at the conclusion of the banquet, booster club members presented the senior athletes blankets for special recognition.

Special awards and scholarship honors were presented during the banquet. The Roy Anderson Ladycat Basketball Award was presented to Andria Curtis by Cliff Knowles of Frazier-Anderson Insurance. Most Outstanding Bobcats Basketball awarded to Keith "Bubba" Brown presented by Ben Brazzel of Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home. In football, Nate Carter received Bobcat Award and the Playmaker of the Year Award presented by Daulton Brewer. Nate Carter and Andria Curtis received the James H. Jones Senior Athlete Award. Allen Castro and Andria Curtis were the two recipients

of the Hope Athletic Booster Club Scholarship.
