The Hope Ladycats took care of business for the third straight victory against Hot Springs to clinch a spot to compete at the Class 5A State Girls Soccer Tournament on Monday evening during the 5A South Conference Tournament at Hammons Stadium.

The Ladycats maintained control for the entire 80 minutes of play to shut out the visiting Hot Springs Lady Trojans to make a return trip back to the state tournament for 2018.

Ladycats' Gabby Dominguez scored both goals with one apiece in the first and second halves of play for Hope. Hanna McCorkle kept the saves progressing as goalie for Hope against the Lady Trojans.

Hope continued conference tournament play on Tuesday in White Hall facing De Queen. The conference wraps up Wednesday for official seeding for the state tournament next week in Harrison.
