The Hope Ladycats had two back to back tough match-ups in recent soccer competition. The Ladycats concluded their series play in 5A/6A Conference play on the road last Friday against El Dorado to fall 8-0.

The Hope Ladycats had two back to back tough match-ups in recent soccer competition. The Ladycats concluded their series play in 5A/6A Conference play on the road last Friday against El Dorado to fall 8-0.

On this past Monday evening, the Ladycats returned home to host Nashville in soccer play on the Banks of the Ozarks Field at Hammons Stadium.

The Ladycats battled hard, but concluded their bout with Nashville in a tie 1-1. Ladycats' Gabby Dominguez scored Hope's lone goal of the game in first half play. Defensively, both team held each other without goals scored for the entire second half. Hope's goalie Hanna McCorkle had four saves in the game. 

The Ladycats will turn their attention to 5A South Conference Tournament play aiming to qualify to compete in the Class 5A Girls State Tournament for season 2018.
