In two intense match-ups in senior high soccer action, the Hope Bobcats suffer two heartbreaking losses in conference play to Hot Springs Lakeside Rams in their season series meeting.

On last Thursday night, the Bobcats hosted the Rams on senior night at Hammons Stadium on the Bank of the Ozarks Field. The Cats were tied with the Rams 1-1 at halftime, and both scored a goal apiece in the second half to force a shootout in penalty kicks knotted 2-2 at the end of the regulation.

Chris Torres scored both of Hope's goals during game action.

In the shootout, Lakeside defeat Hope 6-4. Torres and Pablo Piza scored PK's for Hope during the shootout.

On Monday, the Cats looked for redemption in their series finale against the Rams in Lakeside. The Cats battled fierce and competitive the entire 80 minutes of play to fall in two overtime shootouts against the Rams 10-9.

Bobcats' Samuel Munoz, Torres and Nick Sanchez all scored a goal during game action.

After the first PK shootout, Hope and Lakeside matched each other at 5-5.

In the second PK shootout, Lakeside outscored Hope 2-1. 

Christian Martinez, Piza, Chris Torres, Adrian Dominguez, Daniel Hernandez and Aryell Felipe scored during the shootout.

This Friday, the Cats look to regroup and head on the road to battle El Dorado to conclude league series play in 5A/6A Conference meeting against the Wildcats.
