The Spring Hill Lady Bears took care of business on the diamond Monday evening in road conference softball competition to defeat Lafayette County Lady Cougars 13-0 for the shutout victory.

The Spring Hill Lady Bears took care of business on the diamond Monday evening in road conference softball competition to defeat Lafayette County Lady Cougars 13-0 for the shutout victory.

Lady Bears' pitcher Cheyenne Bobo led Spring Hill to victory in the pitcher's circle.

Cheyenne Bobo went three innings, allowing no runs or hits, striking out five and walking one batter and threw 32 strikes for the no-hitter performance. 

The Lady Bears totaled for 10 hits in the game. Brooklyn Reed, Maegan Ward, Lakin Bobo, and Paige Runion all had multiple hits for Spring Hill. Reed went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Spring Hill in hits.

Offensively, Maegan Ward collected her second home run of the season for the highlight hit of the game. Reed led the high-power offense with three hits and an RBI and scored three runs. Ward and Runion each tallied two hits apiece. Runion tripled for one of her two hits and Ward drove in four runs for four RBI's. 

Whitnee Lee doubled, scored two runs and had one RBI, Lakin Bobo had two hits with one double and two RBI's. Katie Rivera, Runion, Ward with Lee all scored two runs apiece, Keylee Lewis scored a run.

Lakin Bobo had two hits and drove in two runs. 

The Lady Bears tore up the base paths, as five players stole at least two bases. Reed led the way with four. Lee and Lewis each had three stolen bases apiece, Jessi Park had one stolen base alone Runion and Lakin Bobo. 

This week, the Lady Bears continue more conference softball play facing Bearden and Camden-Harmony Grove.
