The Blevins Hornets had two tough and competitive match-ups on the diamond in recent baseball action to fall short to Caddo Hills Indians in a double-header.

In the first game of their double-header, the Hornets fell short to the Indians 7-6. Garrett Richardson scored two runs with two hits, Kobe Steed had two hits and two RBI's, Cameron Lane had one hit with an RBI, Zane Kirkham scored three runs with a hit and one RBI and Jonah Graham had three RBI's. Corta Young and Iker Gorostizage each scored a run apiece.

In the second game of their double-header, the Hornets would fall short in a high-scoring affair to the Indians 19-18. Richardson scored three runs with three hits and drove in runs for multiple RBI's. Steed scored three runs with a hit and one RBI, Lane had one RBI, Zane Walker scored a run with an RBI, Young scored two runs with a hit and three RBI's. 

Kirkham scored a run with two hits and two RBI's, Graham scored a run had a hit and an RBI. Dylan Fulton sparked for four runs across home plate with one hit and Gorostizage scored two runs with a hit and an RBI. 

In previous baseball action at home, Hornets' Steed and Richardson recorded home runs in Blevins shutout victory against Mineral Springs 10-0 at James Thurman Field.

Despite closes defeats from Bradley, Nevada, Murfreesboro and Spring Hill, the Hornets also were victorious against Lafayette County.

The Hornets are scheduled for more competition on the diamond this week against Kirby.
