The Hope Ladycats had their return match-up to host Class 6A Lake Hamilton Lady Wolves Tuesday evening for the series finale in 5A/6A Conference play on the Bank of the Ozarks Field at Hammons Stadium in senior high girls soccer competition.

The Hope Ladycats had their return match-up to host Class 6A Lake Hamilton Lady Wolves Tuesday evening for the series finale in 5A/6A Conference play on the Bank of the Ozarks Field at Hammons Stadium in senior high girls soccer competition.

The Ladycats put up another strong effort, but the Lady Wolves prevailed 7-1 for the series sweep in league competition.

Lake Hamilton sparked out to an 6-0 halftime advantage in first half action. With the sportsmanship rule in effect at the start of the second half, the Lady Wolves added one final goal scored, but the Ladycats avoided the shutout with Neomi Salazar scoring Hope's lone goal in the final 1:28 minute mark.

Dayana Cardona and Gaby Dominguez along Salazar all had shot attempts offensively for the Ladycats.

Goalie Hanna McCorkle had multiple saves for the Ladycats against Lake Hamilton. 

The Ladycats will be back in action next week on the road to battle El Dorado to conclude 5A/6A Conference series play.
