Hope Bobcats and Ladycats tracksters competed in Nashville last week for senior high meet competition to compete at the Sr. Scrapper Relays.

HHS participated in field and running events against tough schools such as Lake Hamilton, Arkansas High, Magnolia, De Queen, Nashville, Ashdown, El Dorado, Caddo Hills, Little Rock Parkview, Hot Springs Lakeside, Acorn, Arkadelphia.

In the boys meet, Lake Hamilton placed first overall with 135 points, Arkansas High placed second with 104 points, Magnolia placed third with 97 points, De Queen placed fourth with 77 points, host school Nashville placed fifth with 67.50 points, Ashdown placed sixth with 62 points, El Dorado finished seventh with 52 points and Caddo Hills finished eighth with 30 points.

In the girls meet, Lake Hamilton finished first place overall with a winning team score of 116 points, Arkansas High placed second with 111 points, Magnolia placed third with 110 points, Little Rock Park view placed fourth with 77.50 points, De Queen placed fifth with 69 points, El Dorado finished sixth with 47 points, Ashdown finished seventh with 33 points and Acorn finished eighth with 32 points.

This week on Thursday April 12, HHS tracksters are scheduled to compete in Camden.

BOBCATS RESULTS: In the 100 meter dash - Lawrence Adetunji finished with a time of 11.79, Emmanuel Phillips finished with a time of 12.83.

In the 200 meter dash - Lawrence Adetunji finished with a time of 24.87, Emmanuel Phillips finished with a time of 26.74. 

LADYCATS RESULTS: In the Long Jump - Miyaunna Purifoy finished with a jump of 12-07.

In the 100 meter dash - Miyaunna Purifoy finished with a time of 14.49, Angeloise McGill finished with a time of 15.58. 

In the 400 meter dash - Madison Hair finished with a time of 1:49.16.

In the 200 meter dash - Miyaunna Purifoy finished with a time of 30.10, Jessica Norman finished with a time of 34.54.
