The Hope Ladycats secured their first victory of the season in a impressive shutout performance against the Hot Springs Lady Trojans 3-0 Tuesday at home for conference play on the Bank of the Ozarks Field at Hammons Stadium.

The Hope Ladycats secured their first victory of the season in a impressive shutout performance against the Hot Springs Lady Trojans 3-0 Tuesday at home for conference play on the Bank of the Ozarks Field at Hammons Stadium.

The Ladycats were led offensively with two goals scored by Gaby Dominguez and one goal by Lizbeity Mayo. The Ladycats' defense held the Lady Trojans scoreless for the entire 80 minutes of play with Hanna McCorkle securing the goalie position during the contest.

The Ladycats snaps a four-game losing skid with their victory over Hot Springs. Today, the Ladycats will host Class 6A El Dorado Lady Cats for league play at Hammons Stadium.

After spring break, the Ladycats will return to conference play on the road to close out their two-game league series match-up against the Lady Trojans in Spa City on March 27 in Hot Springs.
