Hope sparked early with the 7-6 first period lead over Hot Springs. In the second, the Jr. Trojans outscored Hope 17-7 and at halftime led Hope, 23-14.

In the third quarter, Hope added six points scored with the Jr. Trojans rolling for an 16 point scoring period that led the Spa City hoopsters an 39-20 lead after three quarters of action.

In the fourth, Hope dropped 12 points through the basket with the Jr. Trojans just held to seven points scored.

For the game, Travion Rhodes led scoring with 13 points and Zykeis Raglon finished with 10 points for double-figures. Jatario Lewis contributed four points, Cory Lewis and Karl Williams each added two points apiece with Ryan Walker chipping in one point from the charity stripe.

This Saturday, Hope ninth grade boys will enter into the 5A South Jr. High District Tournament as the No. 4 seed and plays the No. 5 seed hosted in De Queen. The district tournament is scheduled Feb. 10-15.
