Spring Hill Bears returned to senior high hoops on the road Monday night falling to a tough and good Bradley Bears team 61-36.

The Bears stayed close in first half action with only a 10-7 deficit at the end of first quarter play. In the second, the Bears were outscored by Bradley 9-6, with Spring Hill trailing 19-13 at the break. In the second half, Bradley opened the game with a sparking third quarter scoring period to pour 24 points on the board to hold the Bears to six points scored. At the end of three periods, Bradley led Spring Hill 43-19.

In the fourth, the Bears posted in double-digits but was outscored by Bradley 18-17 to fall in defeat on the road.

For the game, Bears' Brady Whatley led scoring with nine points and Cam Middleton followed with six points for the top two leading scorers.

This Wednesday night Feb. 7, the Bears will look to bounce back strong in their final home game of the season hosting the Lafayette County Cougars on senior night at Spring Hill Gymnasium.
