The Hornets will look to regroup this week for hoops as they'll return home for their final game of the regular season schedule hosting Abundant Life on senior night at the Imon G. Brown Gymnasium.

The Hornets haven't tasted defeat at home all season long and look to end their finale home performance on the "Paul Noesser Court" unbeaten at the Imon G. Brown Gymnasium.

Thus far, the Hornets are 26-7 overall, 6-1 in conference.

HORNETS 38, CADDO HILLS 34

The Hornets matched up against a tough Caddo Hills Indians squad that's been play very productive ball since the second half of the 2017-18 season. The Hornets had a low scoring affair, but maintain the edge with a 7-6 first quarter lead, then outscoring Caddo Hills 9-7 in the second. At halftime, the Hornets led Caddo Hills 16-13. In the second half, the Hornets outscored Caddo Hills 22-21 with Blevins rolling to an four point win.

For the game, Hornets' Ernan Gomez led scoring with 13 points for double-figures. Big man Zane Kirkham and Deandre Burton each added six points apiece, Monterian Todd followed with five points, Cameron Lane had four points, Dylan Fulton and Corta Young each posted two points apiece.

HORNETS 52, MT. PINE 80

The Hornets found themselves in early foul trouble that haunted their play on the road against a tough and good Mt. Pine Red Devils squad for the conference title with both teams unbeaten and battling for the No. 1 top seed in league play. The Hornets fought hard, but the Red Devils' depth sparked them to victory over Blevins 80-52. The Hornets trailed in first quarter play 13-6 going into the second period. The Red Devils outscored Blevins 21-14 and at the break, Blevins had a 14 point deficit to Mt. Pine, 34-20. In the second half, the Red Devils poured 46 points on the scoreboard with 28 in the third and 18 in the fourth quarter.

The Hornets posted double-digit scoring periods with 16 apiece for third and fourth quarters for 32 points total, but came out short for their first loss in league play. For the game, Hornets' big man Kirkham led scoring with another dynamic performance with 29 points and Burton followed with 15 points despite early foul trouble for double-figures. Todd contributed four points, Gomez had three points and Young added one point from the charity stripe.
