The Spring Hill Lady Bears have rallied back onto the winning trail after capturing key victories in their last four battles to roll on an four-game winning streak to post a 20-3 overall ready thus far.

The Spring Hill Lady Bears have rallied back onto the winning trail after capturing key victories in their last four battles to roll on an four-game winning streak to post a 20-3 overall ready thus far.

The Lady Bears recently broke into the 20 win column on Monday night defeating Parkers Chapel Lady Trojans 68-30 to sweep the season series match-up at home.

In road competition, the Lady Bears topped Camden Harmony Grove Lady Hornets 51-43 and Lafayette County Lady Cougars 68-30.

This Thursday night, the Lady Bears will return to hoop action for their final home contest of the 2017-18 basketball season hosting Lafayette County on senior night at Spring Hill Gymnasium.

The Lady Bears haven't tasted defeat at home this season and if victorious Thursday night, they'll finish the year unbeaten at home, which the last time going undefeated at SH Gymnasium during the 2013-14 season when the senior high girls recorded their historic 35-0 overall record to win the program's first ever state championship.

 

LADY BEARS 51, CAMDEN HARMONY GROVE 43

The Lady Bears opened first half play leading the CHG Lady Hornets 26-17 at the break. In the second half, the Lady Bears got outscored 26-25 for third and fourth periods combine, but Spring Hill prevailed for the eight point victory. For the game, Lady Bears' Momoka "Momo" Maeda led scoring with 17 points and Graycee Barham finished with 10 points for double-figures.

 

LADY BEARS 68, LAFAYETTE COUNTY 30

The Lady Bears had the early spark on the road at Cougar Arena to jump out to an 28-10 first quarter advantage over the Lafayette County Lady Cougars. In the second, the Lady Bears outscored LC 20-8. At the break, the Lady Bears led LC 48-18. In the second half, the Lady Bears dropped 20 points on the scoreboard with the Lady Cougars adding 12 points and SH rolling onto an 38 point victory. For the game, Lady Bears' Christy Randle led scoring with 16 points, Jessi Park finished with 10 points for double-figures and Maleigh Moore swished three trifecta's (3-pointers) from behind the arc for nine points.

LADY BEARS 57, PARKERS CHAPEL 27

The Lady Bears posted a dominant home victory over the Parkers Chapel Lady Trojans for the 30 point win. The Lady Bears rolled to a 33-18 halftime advantage and put the game away in the second half dropping 24 points and holding PC to nine points scored for third and fourth quarters combined. For the game, Lady Bears' Randle led scoring with 13 points for double-figures, Rivera had eight points with two trey's and Moore added six points swishing two trey's. For a team, 13 of 20 players all scored against Parkers Chapel.
