The Bobcats took a first quarter lead over the Cardinals 13-12 at the end of opening period action and outscored Camden-Fairview 12-6 in the second. At the break, Hope led Camden-Fairview 25-18 at halftime. In the second half, the Cats got outscored 25-15 for third and fourth quarters combined as the Cardinals escaped with victory over the Bobcats 43-40. For the game, the Cats shot 41 percent from the field, went 1-for-2 behind the arc for 3-point at 50 percent, made 9-for-14 free-throws for 64 percent. Hope scored nine points off turnovers, scored eight second chance points and 22 points in the paint, totaled for 25 rebounds, nine assists, seven deflections with eight blocks and two steals.

Brown led scoring with 17 points for double-figures with six deflections, four rebounds and two steals. Horton had a game-high 10 points for double-figures with two rebounds and one assist. Davis scored five points with three rebounds, one assist and one deflection. Moore scored two points with one rebound and one assist, Carter had two points with four rebounds, four assist and two steals, Lawson scored two points with five rebounds and four steals and a block. Keyontai Harris had two points with two rebounds and one assist.

Tonight, the Cats head back on the road to face Class 6A Arkansas High Razorbacks to close out 5A-6A Conference series play in Texarkana return on the road next Tuesday night Feb. 6 at Lakeside for league action.
