The Spring Hill Lady Bears extended their streak of winning on the hardwood at home Tuesday night to close out their season series finale battle defeating the Dierks Lady Outlaws 59-30 to remain unbeaten at Spring Hill Gymnasium thus far.

The Spring Hill Lady Bears extended their streak of winning on the hardwood at home Tuesday night to close out their season series finale battle defeating the Dierks Lady Outlaws 59-30 to remain unbeaten at Spring Hill Gymnasium thus far.

The Lady Bears shot out to an 15-8 first quarter advantage, then outscored Dierks 19-5 in the second quarter. At the break, the Lady Bears led Dierks 34-13 at halftime. In the second half, the Lady Bears accounted for 25 points with 15 scored in the third and 10 in the fourth quarter. Dierks totaled for 17 points scored for third and fourth quarter scoring, but the Lady Bears rolled to an 19 point win to sweep the season series meeting and rolling to their 13th straight victory since Nov. 14, 2017.

For the game, Lady Bears' Christy Randle led scoring with 13 points, Katie Rivera followed with 10 points for double-figures and Jessi Park added eight points for top scorers.

Friday night, the Lady Bears carry their winning-streak back on the road to Foreman to close their series meeting against the Lady Gators. Then, on Saturday Jan. 13 the Lady Bears enter into tournament competition hosted in Bradley to face the Taylor Lady Tigers. The Bradley tournament is scheduled Jan. 13-20.
