Spring Hill Jr. Lady Bears had an competitive home duel hosting Dierks Jr. Lady Outlaws on this past Tuesday night at Spring Hill Gymnasium. Jr. Lady Bears' Brooklyn Reed exploded for a season-high 27 points in action, but the Jr. Lady Outlaws prevailed 41-39 in overtime.

Spring Hill only had an one point deficit at the break to Dierks 20-19. Coming out for the second half, the Jr. Lady Bears outscored Dierks 16-15, but as a result both team competitors were knotted 35-35 at the end of regulation to create overtime play.

In the overtime period, the Jr. Lady Bears were outscored by two points to the Jr. Lady Outlaws 6-4 and Dierks escaped victorious for Spring Hill Jr. Lady hoopsters suffering an heartbreaking defeat at home.

For the game, Darcie Chambless contributed eight points for the Jr. Lady Bears with Reed's double-figure scoring display. Reed also shot 9-for-12 from the foul line for 75 percent.
