The Spring Hill Bears recently had tough match-ups in senior high boys basketball action falling on the road to Mineral Springs 59-49 and at home hosting the Foreman Gators 56-49 on Monday night at Springs Hill Gymnasium.

On last Thursday night, the Bears faced the Mineral Springs Hornets on the road, but Spring Hill's slow first half start haunted them for the Mineral Springs to pull away victorious. For the game, Bears' Cam Middleton and Payton Massanelli led scoring with 11 points apiece and Hays Martin followed with 10 points for a trio of double-figures.

On Monday night, the Bears returned home to face the Foreman Gators for the first of their two game season series match-up. The Bears posted double-digit scoring periods with Foreman, but the Gators would spark late to secure the seven point road win at Spring Hill.

This week, the Bears face off against Parkers Chapel for conference play then break for the Christmas holiday and return to second half season basketball action in January 4, 2018 tipping off against Magnet Cove at home.
