Garrett Memorial Christian School Jr. Lady Saints pulled out an impressive victory hosting Faulkner County Jr. Lady Falcons 37-27 on the hardwood last Friday night for junior varsity girls basketball action. Led from a productive double-figure scoring night by Jr. Lady Saints' hoopster Raley Sullivan dropping 15 points as the game's leading scorer sparked GMCS to a double-digit victory to post the lone win of the night in a three-game homestand.

Garrett Memorial Christian School Jr. Lady Saints pulled out an impressive victory hosting Faulkner County Jr. Lady Falcons 37-27 on the hardwood last Friday night for junior varsity girls basketball action.

Led from a productive double-figure scoring night by Jr. Lady Saints' hoopster Raley Sullivan dropping 15 points as the game's leading scorer sparked GMCS to a double-digit victory to post the lone win of the night in a three-game homestand.

GMCS opened first quarter action outscoring their visiting Jr. Lady Falcons team 11-5 to give the home team Jr. Lady Saints a slim six point advantage going into the second period. Defensively, the Jr. Lady Saints held Faulkner County to only one basket with GMCS accounting another 11 point scoring quarter. At the break, the Jr. Lady Saints led Faulkner County 22-7 at halftime.

In the second half, the Jr. Lady Saints outscored Faulkner County in the third period 11-4 with GMCS taking their biggest lead margin for a 33-11 score after three periods of action. In the final quarter of the night, the Jr. Lady Saints added four points scored despite Faulkner County posting 16 points, but GMCS prevailed for the 10 point win.

For the game, Kennedy Hamilton and Katie Beth Alexander each scored six points apiece, Libby Tyson had four points for multiple point scorers and Cally Sullivan and Sophy Tyson each contributed two points apiece. Following the Thanksgiving holiday break, on Tuesday Nov. 28 the Jr. Lady Saints return to the hardwood for junior varsity hoops hosting Victory Christian Academy which will be apart of a four game homestand of basketball competition.
