Hope High School Bobcat varsity cheerleaders competed in their first cheer competition host in Sheridan over the weekend and won first place in the 3-5A division under the direction of head cheer coach Kirby Turner.

Hope High School Bobcat varsity cheerleaders competed in their first cheer competition host in Sheridan over the weekend and won first place in the 3-5A division under the direction of head cheer coach Kirby Turner.

Also senior cheerleader Tristen Jones was recognized and placed third in the jump competition.

This Saturday, HHS cheerleaders will carry their momentum to Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia and compete in cheer competition. HHS cheer team is scheduled to perform around 3:12 p.m.
