The Hornets posted a impressive 14 run road win against Cutter Morning Star 16-2, then returned home on Wednesday to secure victory hosting the Caddo Hills Indians in a double-header on senior night at James Thurman Field in Blevins.

The Hornets displayed productive defense in both games to hold the Indians to five or less runs and winning the second game in double-digits. The Hornets prevailed over the Indians 8-5 and 14-4 to sweep the season series match-up on senior night.

Senior Hornets' Glen Tate, Cesar Torres, Austin Lane, Joseph Smith, Randy McWilliams and Shane Wibblesman all were recognized prior to the first pitch to began action against Caddo Hills. Earlier this season, the Hornets also clinch big series victories against Mineral Springs in a double-header on the road.

The Hornets will bring momentum going in the district tournament scheduled next week April 24-28, looking to clinch a regional tourney appearance for baseball season 2017.
