The city of Hope was proud last Friday night as their hometown Hope Bobcats came out victorious against the ranked and No.1 seed Hot Springs Trojans 64-62 in the championship game in the 5A South Conference Tournament hosted at Watson Chapel in Pine Bluff.

The city of Hope was proud last Friday night as their hometown Hope Bobcats came out victorious against the ranked and No.1 seed Hot Springs Trojans 64-62 in the championship game in the 5A South Conference Tournament hosted at Watson Chapel in Pine Bluff.

The Bobcats earn the No.1 seed from the South and will be the first time in over decade and enters the Class 5A state tournament as an overall top seed to face Sylvan Hills Tuesday Mar. 1 at 5:30 p.m. at Panther Arena in Magnolia.

The Bobcats improve to 19-9 overall and rolling on a four game winning streak under the direction of veteran head coach Sam Bradford and assistant coach Jonathan Turner.
