Will “Son” Gamble, 90, of Washington, died January 18, 2010, in a local nursing home. He was born September 18, 1919, in Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Jane White Gamble, and three sisters, Georgia Bradley, Izzie Bell, and Colena Walker.
Survivors include his life-long friend, Gussie Perkins, of Washington; god nieces and nephews, Arlean (Jessie) Haynie, Gloria Neal, Shirley Taylor, Annette (Tommie) Ellise, and Terry (Angie) Haynie, all of Omaha, Neb., and Carol (Robert) McClure, of Hope, and other family and friends.
Services are at 1 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2010, at Hicks Memorial Chapel for Funerals. Arrangements are entrusted to Hicks Funeral Home, Inc.
