BODCAW – Mrs. Cleo Odel Hamm, 91, of Bodcaw, died Saturday, July 24, 2010, at Medical Park Hospital.
She was born September 11, 1918, in Nevada County, to Luther and Ida Hovarter Arterbury.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Hamm; two sons, Donald Ray and William Floyd Hamm; four brothers, James, Henry, Arlis, and Harvey Arterbury; and two sisters, Inez Whittington and Avis Thompson.
Survivors include one son, Tommy Hamm, of Bodcaw; a brother, Marvin Arterbury, of Blevins; six grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 27, at Bodcaw No. 1 Baptist Church in Bodcaw, with Rev. Jerry Evans and Rev. Wayne Langston officiating. Burial will follow at Bodcaw No. 1 Cemetery in Bodcaw. Arrangements are by Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home in Hope.
The family will receive friends Monday, July 26, from 6-8 p.m., at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home in Hope.
