Mrs. Gayle M. Fore, 74, of Hope, died Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at Medical Park Hospital, in Hope.
She was born January 12, 1936, to Orville Birchell and Mildred Betts Mitchell. She was a former salesperson for Lewis McLarty’s and a secretary/receptionist for the former Dr. Freel and Dr. Brents.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Bobby J. Fore, of Hope; her mother, Mildred Betts Mitchell, of Hope; a daughter, Ann Fore, of Mesquite, Texas; great uncles and aunts Glen Mitchell and Arleta, of Serepta, La.; Dale Mitchell and Janie, of Magnolia; Hilmon Mitchell and Beth, of Bossier City, La.; Verdell Betts, of Minden, La., and several cousins and many friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 21, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home in Hope.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 22, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home chapel in Hope, with Mr. Wallace Alexander officiating. Burial will follow at Betts Cemetery, in Hope.
Arrangements are by Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home in Hope.
