HOPE - Mrs. Mary Louise Saladin Allen, 82, of Hope, died Monday, July 5, 2010, in Heather Manor Nursing and Rehab Center in Hope, Arkansas.
She was born in Utica, New York, on February 13, 1928, to Vincent Leo Saladin and Louise (Cloute) Saladin. She married George F. Allen in 1947 and in 1969, they moved to Camden, N.Y. and were both employed by Farnsworth Printing Company.
Her beloved husband passed away on December 2, 2002. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Will and Vincent Saladin.
She is survived by two sons, David Allen, of Phoenix, Ariz. and Robert Allen, and Debbie, Camden, N.Y.; a daughter, Patricia Goynes and John, of Hope; two brothers, Robert Saladin, of Florida and Thomas Saladin,  of New York State; four sisters, Theresa Hackett, Frances Welch, Eleanor Menard, and Janice Marfone, all of New York State; six grandchildren,  Kimberly Westfall and John, Michael Allen, Melissa Allen, Jeff Allen, Chrissie Allen, and Timothy Goynes and Abby; five great-grandchildren; and other relatives and many  friends.
A memorial service will be conducted at  10 a.m. Saturday, July 24, at LaRobardiere Funeral Home in Camden, N.Y. Local arrangements are by Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home in Hope, and LaRobardiere Funeral Home in Camden, N.Y.
