Hulon Hopson, died on July 10, 2010, in Texarkana.
He was born November 29, 1916, in Laneburg.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Verda Mae Hopson; one son, Larry Hendrix; five siblings and one great-grandchild.
Survivors include one daughter, Francis Hendrix (Jessie), of Prescott; one sister, Lois McClure (Jonah) and one brother, Harlee Hopson (Dorothy), both of Hot Springs; nine grandchild and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, July 16, at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Russell Latson, officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 15, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Hicks Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Deann Cemetery in Prescott, with arrangements entrusted to Hicks Funeral Home, Inc.
