ROSSTON--Louise Gibson Sanders Jones, 74, of Rosston, died Wednesday, June 3, 2009, at a local hospital. She was born in Cale on October 31, 1934, to Jim and Esther Sampson Gibson. She was a retired cook and a member of the Union Baptist Church in Bodcaw. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her husbands, James Sanders and John Paul Jones; by two brothers, Thomas and Huey Gibson and by one sister, Bettylee McKamie.
Survivors include two sons, Albert Jones and Marjorina, of Hope, and George P. Jones and Beverly, of Rosston; three daughters, Mary Rayborn, of Hope, Martha Jackson and George, of Rosston, and Allie Vines and Randy, of Hope; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope, with the Rev. Lane Garner officiating. Burial will follow in Huckabee Cemetery in Spring Hill. Arrangements are by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. Family will receive friends on Friday, June 5, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope. A memorial fund has been set up at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home, P. O. Box 645, Hope, Ar., 71802. Family will be at the home of Francis Jones, 319 S. Washington, Hope.
