Annie May Butler, 83, of Hope, died January 26, 2010 in Texarkana, Texas. She was born in Hempstead County on July 7, 1926 to Ben and Pearl Prince Robinson. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church and the Home Extension Club.
She was preceded in death by two sons, James Ronald Faulkner, and William Ray Faulkner; her mother and father; three sisters, Vonnie Haltom, Doris Jones and Irma Virengo; two brothers, Raymon and Laymon Robinson.
Survivors include one daughter, Becky Faulkner Osteen and Clay, if Bradenton, Flor.; one daughter-in-law, Lynell Faulkner, of Hope; four sisters, Mildred Galloway, Martha Sallee, Delores Purtle and Janelle Messer, all of Hope; four grandchildren, Jonathon Osteen, William R. “ Jr.” Faulkner, Daniel Faulkner and Jaimie Villareall; two great -grandchildren, Harley Faulkner and Dusty Faulkner and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 27, between the hours of 6-8 p.m. at the Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 28, at 10:00 a.m. in the Herndon Pharr Chapel with Bro. Charles Jones officiating. The interment will be in the Bright Star Cemetery under the direction of Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home.
