Mrs. Irma Jean Godwin, 83, of Prescott, formerly of  Emmet, died Monday, July 19, 2010, at Hillcrest Care and Rehab in Prescott.
 She was born in Little Rock on March 16, 1927, to Leon and Betsy Burton Baldwin. She was a former employee of Meyers Bakery, a mail carrier and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Archie Tyra and Leroy Godwin; one daughter, Debra Gail Godwin Manriguez; one granddaughter, Katy Rose Manriguez; and one sister, Grace Larch.  Surviving are four sons, Lloyd Tyra and Kathy, of Prescott, Lee Tyra and Charlotte, of Danville, Deryl Godwin and Corey,  ofArkadelphia, Gary Godwin, of North Little Rock; one sister, Dorothy Yates, of Little Rock; 13 grandchildren, John Tyra and Ana, of Emmet, Penny Flanigan and Dean, of  Summerspoint, N.J., Bobby Villiard, of Riverside, Calif., Shawna Cook and Jannel, of Emmet, David Villiard, of DeQueen, Leah Roddy and Shawn, of Chickalah,  Tim Tyra and Brandi, of Danville, Adam Godwin, Zachary Godwin,  Anna Godwin, Eric Godwin, Kevin Godwin, and Terry Cox, all of  Arkadelphia; and, a host of great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 22,  at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home chapel in Prescott, with Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland officiating.
Burial will follow at Snell Cemetery in Emmet. Arrangements are by Brazzel/Cornish The Funeral Home in Prescott. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brazzel/Cornish The Funeral Home in Prescott. Online guest book is at: www.brazzelfuneralhomes.com
