PRESCOTT--Pauline Mauldin “Granny” McKinnon, 90, of Prescott, died Friday, October 9, 2009, at a Texarkana hospital. She was born July 14, 1919, in Okolona to Leon and Jimmie Malcom Mauldin and was a homemaker. She was a member of the West Side Church of Christ in Prescott and was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond McKinnon; twin sons, Delmer and Elmer McKinnon; three brothers, Garland, Rufus, and Jack Mauldin; one sister, Ruby McKinnon; one grandson, Luther Patrick Otwell, Jr., and one great-grandson, Ronald Derrick Toland.
Survivors include two sons, Vernon Ray McKinnon and Sue, and Bobby McKinnon, both of Prescott; three daughters, Ruby Ledbetter, of Prescott, Wilma Otwell and Luke, of Emmet, and Mary Elizabeth Graham, of Prescott; one special sister-in-law, Mary Lou Mauldin, of Huntsville, Texas; one special niece, Amy Powell and Jason, of Hope; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, October 11, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott, with Billy Cutchall officiating. Burial followed in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Prescott. Arrnagements are by Brazzel/Cornish The Funeral Home, Prescott. Family received friends on Saturday, October 10, from 6-8 p. m. at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.
