Wanda L. Stone Stevens, 86, of Prescott, died October 16, 2009, in Prescott. She was born July 8, 1923, in Blevins, to Jefferson Bolen and Maggie Bell McKinnon Stone. She worked as a secretary and a member of Midway Methodist Church, Nevada County Depot, and the Prescott Chamber of Commerce.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Rhodes; her second husband, Vernon Stevens; her parents; one brother, Johnny B. Stone, and four sisters, Dorothy Allene Self, Vestie Mildred Jackson, Doris Marie Ridgell, and Mary Rose Perkins.
Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Sunday, October 18, between 4-6 p.m. at Pharr Funeral Home of Prescott. Services were held Monday, October 19, at 10 a.m. in the Pharr Funeral Home of Prescott; interment will follow in Sweet Home Cemetery under the direction of Pharr Funeral Home of Prescott.
