Elvin Wayne Anderson, 52, of Hope, died Saturday, October 10, 2009, at his home. He was a construction carpenter for FEMA and a painter. He loved to hunt and fish, especially fly-fishing. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church of Hope and was preceded in death by his mother, Jewell Walker Anderson.

Survivors include his father, Jess Anderson; his maternal grandmother, Pauline Walker and one brother, Jerry Anderson, all of Hope; three sisters, Becky Campbell, of Washington, Connie Hawley and Jim, of Maumelle and Christy Anderson, of Washington; nephews Dustin Searcy, of Maumelle, and Enrique Campos, of Washington, and one niece, Jenifer Hawley, of Maumelle.
Funeral services were set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 14, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Chapel with the Revs. Dwayne Parish and Charles Hawley, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hope by Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home in Hope.
