Loyd Bierden, 52, of Hope, died Saturday, December 19, 2009, in a local hospital. He was born August 12, 1957, in Natchitoches, La., to Ralph and Sybil Ingram Bierden. He was a Baptist and was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Sheila Emory Bierden, of Hope; one son, Justin Bierden and Ashley Jackson, of Hope; his mother, Sybil Bierden, of Coushatta, La., and two brothers, Kenneth Bierden, of Minden, La., and Dale Bierden, of Hall Summit, La.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, in the Beulow Cemetery near Coushatta, by Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope. Arrangements are by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home.
