Laura Martin, 65, of Little Rock, formerly of Hope, died Thursday, December 31, 2009, at a Little Rock hospital. She was born in Little Rock on March 27, 1944, to Robert Belding Adams, Sr., and Laura Catheron Adams. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Hope and had lived in Hope for many years before moving to Little Rock in 1989, leaving behind many friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Leigh Ann and her brother, Robert Belding Adams, Jr.
Survivors include one daughter, Susan Green and husband Bud, of Little Rock; two grandchildren, Grace and Gunnar Green, of Little Rock; and nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 13, at Fellowship Bible Church in Little Rock. Family will receive friends immediately following at the church. Arrangements are by Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home, Hope. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Fellowship Bible Church, Missions Fund, 1401 Kirk Road, Little Rock, AR 72223.
