Mrs. Bonnie Gene Griffin Rhodes, 70, of Fulton, formerly of Spring Hill, died on Thursday, September 2, 2010, at a Texarkana, Texas, hospital.
She was born October 19, 1939, in Heber Springs, to Harold Edward and Julia Mae Carwilie Griffin.
She was a homemaker, past employee of the former TG&Y of Hope, Kids-R-US Daycare, member of Anderson Baptist Church and attended the Providence Baptist Church of Spring Hill.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Her survivors include, her husband of 53 years, Clay Rhodes, of Fulton; three sons, Clay “Speck” Rhodes and Mellisia, of Patmos, Jonathan Rhodes and Lisa,  of McNab, Michael Rhodes and Amy,  of McNab; one daughter, Rebecca Rhodes, of Spring Hill; two brothers, Eddie Griffin, of Hope, and Bobbie Griffin, of St. Louis, Ill.;five sisters, Juanita Nash,  of Yellville, Wanda Schuster, of Riverside, Calif., Mary Roper, of Clarksville, Debbie Jordan,  and Jeannette Denninger,  of Atlanta, Ga.; 15 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Saturday, September 4,  from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home in Hope.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 5, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home chapel in Hope, with Rev. Glen Shults officiating.
Burial will follow in Patmos Cemetery,  in Patmos.  Arrangements are by Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home in Hope.
