A high speed chase ended in Hempstead County at approximately 1:45 a.m. Sunday, with three subjects being arrested by Miller County Sheriff's Deputy Jody Harris.
Arkansas State Police Sergeant Brady Gore said ASP was not actually involved in the pursuit, other than putting up spikes to stop the vehicle.
“ We deployed our spikes; they could see us so they decided to give up,” Gore said.
Miller County Sheriff Ron Stovall said the pursuit was initiated at the eight mile marker on U.S. Interstate 30 and ended at the 25 mile marker near Fulton.
Holsey Robert Finney, 33, of 606 Bellview in Hot Springs, was listed as the driver of the vehicle. Finney was arrested a ong with Correy Wells, 29, 2102 Hosston Street in Texarkana, and Rosia Marie Glover, 23, of 403 South Street in Hot Springs.
Stovall said the high speed chase reached 90 miles per hour at one point. The suspects are being held in Texarkana for a felony robbery investigation in which shots were allegedly fired, according to the Texarkana Police Department. The Texarkana, Arkansas, police said the robbery related report said police were dispatched to 100 North Stateline. The charges in Miller County consist of fleeing in the vehicle, according to Stovall.
