A woman was ran over on her bicycle in Hope Friday after she entered the lane of a blazer. EMS personnel work to free her from being pinned under the blazer.

 Officers responded to an accident involving a Blazer, driven by  Hope resident Annette McLaughlin, 47, and a woman riding her bicycle Friday just before 5 p.m. at the 1200 block of North Hervey and Compress streets.  The injured woman, Nancy Fraser, 59, of Hope, was airlifted to a Texarkana hospital. Medical personnel worked for some time to free Fraser, who was pinned under the Blazer. Arkansas State Police Trooper Corwin Battle said Fraser entered into the traffic lane of McLaughlin who was making a right turn off North Hervey onto Compress streets. Fraser was riding south across Compress, according to Battle. The investigation is ongoing. Fraser is listed in stable condition.
