The new Miss Southwest Outstanding Teen, Bryce Wagner (right), age 17, of Magnolia, was crowned on Saturday night during the Miss Southwest Arkansas and Miss Arkansas Outstanding Teen Pageant at the Klipsch Auditorium in Hope.

The new Miss Southwest Outstanding Teen, Bryce Wagner (right), age 17, of Magnolia, was crowned on Saturday night during the Miss Southwest Arkansas and Miss Arkansas Outstanding Teen Pageant at the Klipsch Auditorium in Hope. Celebrating with Bryce at a party afterwards was her younger sister, Miley, age 10, also of Magnolia.  The other big winner Saturday night was Hope’s Suzie Gresham, who emerged the winner as the new Miss Southwest Arkansas.  Both Wagner and Gresham will move on the Miss Arkansas pageant on June 11 in Little Rock. The Miss Southwest Arkansas Scholarship Pageant is a preliminary pageant to the Miss Arkansas Scholarship pageant. Wagner and Gresham will be goodwill ambassadors over the next 12 months for the Southwest Arkansas area which consists of Clark, Columbia, Dallas, Hempstead, Howard, Lafayette, Little River, Miller, Nevada, Ouachita, Pike, Polk, Sevier, and Union. They will appear at various events in the Southwest Arkansas area to promote their platform and to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
