The Spring Hill Bears and No. 4 ranked Lady Bears took their hoop games on the road in the second meeting of the 7-2A West Conference matchup against Horatio on Friday, January 27.

The Lady Bears once again pulled away with an impressive dominating victory over the Lady Lions, 56-28 but the Bears would fall short to the Lions for a 94-63 defeat.

In senior high girls action, the Lady Bears out-shined the Lady Lions in the first half taking a  28-12 lead into the locker room at halftime.
 In the second half, the Lady Bears out-scored the Lady Lions 28-16 as Spring Hill rolled to a 28 point victory and remain undefeated in conference at 13-0, 23-2 overall.

In the game, Lady Bears' Suzie Gresham led scoring in double-figures with 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds, Claire McMaster scored 13 points with eight steals, Kaylee Fincher had eight points, Madison Kidd posted seven points with 12 rebounds and Jamie Nance snatched eight rebounds off the glass.

In senior high boys action, the Bears fought hard in the early going of their matchup against the Lions only having a four point deficit at halftime.

In the second half, the Bears had a tough time against Horatio as the Lions out-scored them 41-24.

Horatio would come out with the win over the Bears for a 31 point loss.

In the game, Bears' Boone Kidd led scoring in double-figures with a big 28 points, Kevin Aaron had eight points and Hunter Clayton added six points.

Tonight, the Bears and Lady Bears return back to conference road action to conclude the series season taking on Dierks with tip-off set for 5 p.m.

 Hoop action will  begin with   seventh grade girls play, then junior high boys action, followed by the   senior high girls and boys games in Dierks.
