The Spring Hill junior high Lady Bears and the seventh grade Bears were victorious over Horatio in junior high hoops action.
The seventh grade Bears defeated Horatio, 29-11 and the junior high Lady Bears cruised to a 40-12 win over the jr. Lady Lions.
In seventh grade boys action, Bears' Clyde Ricks led scoring with eight points and Blake Wallers added five points.
In junior high girls action, jr. Lady Bears' Kaitlyn Ward led scoring in double-figures with 11 points. Mallory Kidd, Lacy Knox and Kamber Neely all scored seven points apiece.
As a result, the junior high Lady Bears are crowned the 2011-12 7-2A West Conference champions with a 17-1 overall record and unbeaten in conference at 7-0.
