Cherokee Nation donates $25K
The Cherokee Nation made a $25,000 donation to the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits on Oct. 31.
The Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits has offices in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Its mission is to equip and strengthen the Oklahoma nonprofit sector through training, consulting, advocacy, membership, networking and awards.
“The Cherokee Nation has many nonprofit agencies in northeastern Oklahoma and around the state that serve our tribal citizens and all community citizens with such valuable resources,” Cherokee Nation Secretary of State Chuck Hoskin Jr. said. “We want to help them as best we can, so we’re thankful this donation can assist the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits with that effort.”
