Ohal Jenice “GeGe” Applegate, 51, of Prescott, died Friday July 5, 2013, at Christus St. Michaels Health Center, in Texarkana. Mrs. Applegate was born April 5, 1962 in Prescott, Arkansas to Jerry, and Dorothy Kirkham Hendrix. She was a homemaker and was a member of Boughton Baptist Church, in Boughton. She was a loving wife, mother, and most of all a devoted grandmother. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Foster, and a nephew, Joshua “Braith” Egger. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Delbert Applegate; a son, Bryan Applegate and wife, Laura, all of Prescott; daughters, Amanda Wheeler and husband, Chris, of Stonewall, La., Tiffany Rogers and husband, Tony, of Prescott, and Dusty Applegate, of Prescott; her parents, Jerry and Dorothy Kirkham Hendrix, of Prescott; a brother, Bud Hendrix, of Prescott; a sister, Teresa Smith and husband, Dean, of Blevins; and 11 grandchildren. Visitation was from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 7, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott. Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, July 8, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Neil Ridling, and Bro. Tony Rogers officiating.
