Wanda Mae Madden, 77 of Hope, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Baptist Hospital in Little
Mrs. Madden was born December 8, 1935, in Hempstead County, to Willie E. and Nancy Opal Lockard Seaton. She was retired as an employee of National Laundry in Hope. Her favorite hobby was working with her flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Madden, and a daughter, Diana Crawford.
Mrs. Madden is survived by a brother, Larry Seaton, of Hope; two sisters, Anna Cotter, of Enid Oklahoma, and Helen Cunningham, of Marrero, Louisiana; a grandson, Adam Crawford; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Friday, May 17, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 18, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Hope, with Bro.
Oliver McKamie officiating.
