at his home in Texarkana.
Cecil Ray Faught, 80, of Texarkana, Texas, formerly of Hope, died Friday, May 3, 2013, at his home in Texarkana. Mr. Faught was born May 17, 1932, in Hope, to Chester R. and Cortelia Foster Faught. He was a retired Fireman from the Hope Fire Department after 20 years; retired from Klipsch and Associates; former co/owner of Chimney Sweeps of Hope; and former owner/operator of Faught Tree Service. He was a member of Liberty Eylau Baptist Church of Texarkana. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, D. L. Faught and C. L. Faught. Heis survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Ann Campbell Faught; a son, Gregory Faught and wife, Doris, of Hope; two daughters, Susan Beasley and husband, David, of Hope, Cecilia Ann Crump and husband, Larry, of Texarkana, Texas; a sister, Merlene Faught, of Hope; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and numerous other family members; and a host of friends. Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope. Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 pm, Sunday, May 5, at the Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel, with Dr. Dwight Lowrie and Bro. Travis Young officiating. Burial followed in Ayers Cemetery in Hope.
